Looking Out to the Lake

Are you a young professional battling the corporate world, or your managers, or the lack of flexibility? Monday through Friday you hit the pavement to do a job you chose because you thought it was going to be the best job for you. Now, for some reason, you don't feel like to are moving forward or progressing in your career.

How often do you think about reaching the next level? When are you going to wake up and feel like you are doing what you are meant to do? Why not now?

Have you already tried different books or podcasts to uplift your mood and you still feel like you just can't shake the frustration you have with your 9-5 job?

Everyone has talents and is good at something, but most people never tap into that better-than-average strengths. Most people never find it in themselves to ask for help. Even if asking for help is all they need to build a fulfilling career.

It took me a long time to build the perspective I have now on the trajectory of my career. I can help you, like I have helped others, learn how to effectively attack each promotion for the job of your dreams. The number one reason I build Mento Mindset coaching: if it can help frustrated young professionals get unstuck; how could I not offer it?

Set up a 30-minute call with me to find out if you would be a good fit for the Power to Promotion course or any of my one-on-one coaching services.

Capitalizing on My Strengths

For years I searched for the job I was meant to have and the position I was made for. I tried different industries, job titles, and marketing strategies to show how capable I was. Little did I know, I was trying to fit my square peg into a circle hole. I was doing it all wrong. The corporate world isn't a ladder that you climb up over time. There is no specific formula to the top. There are clear differences in the mindset of the person who gets promoted and the person who gets passed over. I couldn't move forward because I wasn't using my talents to be the best at my role.

I had to learn this the hard way.

It wasn't until the third corporate job I was in that I realized, it wasn't about the position or company or my manager. I wasn't getting promoted because of me. After learning this single piece of information, I felt unstoppable. I hired a coach, found my talent, turned it into a strength and am using it to differentiate myself and get noticed. From here I learned that my strengths are best used to help others transition from powerless to promotion by teaching them how to use the power of their strengths.

I’ve been coaching young professionals and facilitating their career-growth since 2015. I started training and mentoring in my Cutco office - then later decided to try corporate sales. The steps I teach are not rocket science, but they are also not taught in school, by our parents, or by our society. You can read about them or listen to them in your podcasts but sometimes that's not the push you need. If you're like me, you may need some guidance to see the results. Luckily you can learn them here!!
